When a tree or large shrub has been cut to ground level, the protruding stump not only looks ugly but problems can occur with suckering when new shoots arise from the trunk or roots. Alongside this the stump is a complete waste of space. By grinding or removing the stump it means the space can be utilised without anybody ever knowing something was there.

We offer two types of stump work: stump grinding or stump removal.
Stump grinding involves a mechanically powered machine that comprises of an engine that powers a rotating disk with small teeth to literally grind the stump into sawdust. Fully Qualified and Insured
Stump removal is a technique that removes the entire stump. We do this with the use of winches or diggers. This technique is generally only used for building companies who require the entire root removed due to deep excavation. Read more about stump removal by clicking here.
